"Serving
Men As We Serve the LORD"
Our motto since 1978 was intended as a simple assertion
that we will "treat others, as we would want to be treated";
an expression of the principle "I am third" (God first, others
second, self third). and to indicate that our Christianity is
not merely doctrine it is a joyful lifestyle that directly affects
how we relate to our clients and our community.
"Don't you
serve women?"
Some members of the language police have objected. Warning us
that we are, or unintentionally appear to by misogynic neanderthals.
With our tongue planted firmly in our cheek we assure you we do
serve women.
The generic masculine is more than a linguistic
accident or a power play by dead white males. It reflects a reality
that male and female are neither independent nor interchangeable,
but complimentary.
Not only do we serve women, we honor them because
godly men are told to "love your wives as Christ loved the
church" and "treat women as sisters."
